CAPSULE

Each 450 mg Capsule contains: Ashwagandha Ext. (Withania somnifera) 350 mg, jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi) 100 mg.

ASHWAGANDHA is a nervine tonic of choice. The drug is officially described as a sedative in the pharmacopoeia of India. It has hypotensive effects due to autonomic ganglion blocking action; also has depressant action on the higher cerebral centres. It shows relaxant and antispasmodic effects against several spasmogens on intestine, uterine, bronchial, tracheal and vascular muscles. This activity shows in asthma and as a uterine sedative. Ashwagandha is also useful in inflammatory conditions. Also effective as aphrodisiac.

1-2 capsules twice a day or as directed by the physician.
